Our skating instructors work with a wide range of skill levels, from just-starting-out beginners all the way up to advanced competitive skating:

  • Learn at your own pace with one-on-one instruction – We craft lesson plans based on your personal skate goals
  • Flexible scheduling available throughout the week – Lesson times typically take place when the rink is closed for private practice/lesson time.
  • We offer lessons for both Quad Roller Skates and Inline Skates
  • Lessons are taught by our Car-Vel Skating Club coaches

Beginner Learn-to-Skate Group Class

Every Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

This beginner class is perfect for kids and adults who are ready to take their first or next skating steps. Skills you’ll learn in this class include:

  • Forward & Backward skating – stepping to stroking
  • Learn how to fall and get back up safely
  • Scissor strokes forward & backward
  • Basic spinning & jumping

$25 per class or $80 for 4 classes!
Each class includes the same-day Saturday public skating session!

Rhythm Group Class – Intermediate to Advanced Level

Monday Night 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Note: Start time subject to change based on rink availability)

The class is targeted towards intermediate to advanced skaters who are ready to level up and skate with more confidence, strength, and safety. The class covers a variety of rhythm skating elements such as:

  • Grapevine
  • Crazy Legs
  • Downtown
  • 3-Turns
  • Spins
  • Dips
  • … and so much more

The cost per class is $20
